McNally Capital is currently seeking MBA graduates or other professionals with a minimum of 7-10 years of prior investment banking experience or more than 10 years of other meaningful finance or accounting experience to support the firm’s successful Merchant Banking efforts.  Candidates for this senior position must have:

  • Strong transaction experience within M&A and financing related to the Middle Market

  • Excellent analytical skills and working knowledge of deal structures, diligence, etc.

  • High energy with strong interpersonal skills

  • Ability to perform under pressure and tight deadlines

  • Commitment to working hard and in collaboration within a team

  • Focused attention to detail and driven to create and produce quality work products

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong client development and management skills

  • Comfort with ultra-high net worth clientele and family offices

  • Proven self-starter who can work well without daily direction


Job requirements will include, among others:

  • Leadership of small and large group meetings

  • Deal lead roles in the transaction execution process from conception to closing

  • Marketing and plan engagements across various sectors and within certain themes related to dealerships, distributors, food & beverage, etc. together with firm knowledge corridors

  • Guiding and coordinating business and legal due diligence

  • Building relationships and maintaining direct contact with current and prospective clients

  • Devising and executing new business development strategies

  • Coordinating and catering to the needs of ultra-high net worth clientele

  • Preparing materials in relation to prospective investment ideas for the firm and Merchant Banking co-investors

  • FINRA registration for Series 7 (or 79) and 63 licenses and ideally hold a Series 24 license too

  • Travel obligations commensurate with the position and responsibility
